Placeholder ImageI struggle on this journey to 125 year’s. I have seen something that I wouldn’t wish on anyone.
As a result, though the trauma and bullying, harassment, sundering life was tuff.
During the school year’s I struggle in being pic on, the ugly duckling you would say, but I retrieved some wonderful skill while other partied, enjoyed the football games, dances with the inter school association.
I leaned in being by self, the act of babysit, clean houses [military tents] during the summer, and assist kids maintaining a horse [where I learned to western and English Ride] and love it.
My very first job was Nanny, wow babies become attached, and mother can become angry when the children want their nannie more than them.
Now, there is my passion, taking care of the elder before leaving this wonderful earth. I see them as the pathway of life, listening to their story of what they had accomplish through they up and down while being young, to where they are now. The memory they can tell, paints a picture of a million maps, turns, and steps you would have to their to understand.
Afterward, I moved on to where my father assisted me in moving on into government agency work, [Veteran Affairs]. During my education skill set, this intuition provided all the schooling and education, I could mustard. Then it end with upset patient throw a full mental bedpan at me when I turned, I was down on my knee, and in the hospital I went. Sleeping with chair in your bed is not fun. I was blessed after years had gone by to come in second place for a national trophy called the Guides Principles reward for the state of California. That day told me I was great and going places. I then learn everything I could about nursing agencies, adult family home [how they are ran, what are the laws, what is the inspection about]. Now, this position kept you on your toes and is challenging day to day, just because you did not know what to expect.
After, traveling and journeying with patient our commanding chief asked guys and girls for help, I took it upon myself in know that was me as well and when back into the government agency after family and traveling.

In April 2010, I witness a code on my watch, and had to make a choice or doing wrong or right, I chose right.

In doing right you have to cry out to the Lord for help. You go from being the champ, to being call a Rat, snake, and others. Here is where I learn about codes within codes, agencies with in agencies, and finally military personal via civil service. Now after I did the right thing is discover when the powerhouse want to get around being crude, just stay within policy, allow things to grab out.

I would like to end this week with some information from another location in which I am proud, let’s call it sky to the Lord treatment without being ask and the smiles of joy and happiness to service our Veterans and families in need:

Excellent Care at the
Veterans Affairs Puget Sound Health Care System (VAPSHCS)
American Lake and Seattle, Washington
            When a clinical psychologist at the VAPSHCS American Lake Division was leaving at the end of the day, she saw a Veteran trying to get into the building but the door was locked.  The psychologist approached the Veteran, who disclosed that she had been struggling with mental health issues, and since the door was locked, she had planned to go back to her apartment and end her life.
The psychologist took the Veteran under her care and consulted with a fellow VA psychiatrist, and both of them provided care and treatment to the Veteran in a calm, composed, and compassionate manner.  In addition, they ensured that the Veteran’s dog was in the safe custody of the Veteran’s friend.  Relying on their training and keen awareness, both medical professionals responded quickly to provide heroic efforts to potentially save the life of the Veteran.
On a different note, a Veteran’s spouse wrote on behalf of the excellent care her husband received from the dedicated staff at VAPSHCS Seattle Division.
            Her husband has been dealing with Posttraumatic Stress Disorder and depression for a number of years.  When the depression turned more severe, the VA Anchorage psychiatrist who was treating him arranged for them to travel to the VAPSHCS so her husband could receive Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT), which is a brain stimulation treatment.
Upon arriving at the facility, she discovered that VA had efficiently scheduled the blood work and three additional appointments so that they could all be completed the same day.  The Veteran’s wife wrote, “We were pleasantly surprised by this treatment.  We were out of VA and back to our hotel by 3:30 p.m.”
The Veteran’s wife shared her appreciation for the doctors, nurses, anesthesiologists, medical students, front desk greeters, and especially noted those individuals who transported them within the hospital.  She said, “They are all friendly and exhibit professionalism.”  She also recognized the team who transported them to and from the hotel, “They are generally cheerful guys but also sensitive to the needs of the patient.  A big thanks goes to them.”
Her husband is continuing to receive ECT therapy at VAPSHCS every six weeks, and it has made a huge difference in his life and hers.
This letter is a testament to the creativity and drive of the ECT staff, and to the accomplishments they have made in the field.  The VISN-wide resource provides care to needy Veterans as far away as Alaska!
Further, another Veteran wrote to his Senator regarding care at VAPSHCS, “You don’t know me but I am writing this letter to let you know about the receptionist ladies that work at the mental health building #24, at VAPSHCS.  They are doing an amazing job, working above and beyond what their job description entails.  Somehow these remarkable women have an uncanny ability to know if a person is upset or just having a bad day and just need someone to talk to.  They are the first ones some Veteran meets when they need help and sometimes those Veterans, whether it’s a man or woman, can be pretty feisty.”
The Veteran shares, “Day in and day out, these ladies perform their job with great pride and always look out for me and others who have problems that seem difficult.  Personally, I think the world of them and the work they do is PRICELESS.”
Because of their dedication and passion to care for Veterans, the VAPSHCS employees obviously go the extra mile, and their actions are the embodiment of VA’s I-CARE values.

Well, the day started with our look at Dustin, Assist Director, and the Director right hand through communication.

Next we move forward, in listening to our hospital daily hubbies. I like this, when your administration has the tendency to keep you out of the view of others. We now have a way of listening while at the same time entry your creatives.

I am find it amagzing on how when your a Whisblower on important things important to you with the place in which you work, but Chief, Assist Chief, Managers and Lead become nervous, edges, and uncomfortable.

2007, I was placed underneath the Accommodation Program do to I becoming more and more ill due to carpets /service dogs / colognes & perfumes.

The hospital safe and environmental team, found the location of CCU, because it gives me a bathroom at the nursing station, and provided wonderful skills for me to use, while staying healthy, and calling in less on sick leave.

 

The executive nurse at the time, assisted in measure before retirement but the new people were not told therefore. Issues keep coming up, [ we don’t know anything about this/ HR didn’t tell use} and around an around.

In going to collect my assignment, I ran into some of the Old worker from the evening shift.

We had the opportunity in which to catch up and listen to the changes going / happening throughout the facility.

Ava Pamela Womack, has returned from her travels, Cleveland’s Veteran Affairs for a week.

 

Two of the individual sharing there experience on Saturday Fair said it best, we just have to us Prayer and let the God / Lord / he’s Son Jesus direct the Whey.

 

Veteran’s Transition Center, staff call into the Call Center, as to I’ve been seen, then H R join the hunt, and finally the Administration.

WoW, we now can’t even go to the toilet in peace.

I mean think about it, I have projects to complete for the evening, and Breaks/ Lunches in the Room OP-247.

Stepping out the door seem to set off nerves system in some.

The Executives Team has apparently decided to let go of the Medical Agency we have had for a min. and go back to educating / training their own staff member as they come in.

As a result, the Job Fair, was pretty great on Saturday, but to here the feed back from some which thought they Now Supervisor would help them retrieve a primary position didn’t like the way thinks were done at the booth or on site.

B) was stated even though they work already underneath the VA umbrella, to overly queried to the job we are hiring for NOW.

Can you believe it people actual are excided about possible getting a JOB [just over broke] at the facility. Resumes in handed, wanting to know how long it would take before they even here anything for the facility Labor and Relation, along with how will the division be picking their candidate’s

As I have become hopeful on this journey, it pleasing to know were thing is still having the ability to be framed into a New Picture. When the Old of 20, 30, and 10 year of service left, they decided not to train of how, what, when and where order rolled on the hour by hour mission through the day.

 

A elderly, women I worked for once told me, it’s not about how much you make, it what you do with it.

Point taken, I had said in one of my pass blog’s that, we need to keep our chains up to the sky, and for give those that hate, disrupters, your projects because their un- happy about the personal life and bring it into the work.

 

Our facility’s New  Executives Levels directorship is trying to re-route  visions by starting with the basics[ how, why, the Veteran affairs was started]. We as worker can know listen in on the Daily Huddle Call, that a step in the right director.

At about [15:43hr]/ there’s about the V T C staff member decided they would bang on the door, OP-247 while on Note Pad call. Now, why they would do this childes act, would be my OLD Supervisor June Callasan of the Transition Center Long Beach VA “alka” Tibor Rubin Medical Center.
Now, she left Gina De Campus, RN, lead Case Manager in charge but has her room door open to listen to the behavior under her superior. Wow, thank god, no patients were in the lobby for a witness.
TherefoRE, I still stay, ALL theses Wall up at transition center do have to come down. Too much non- visual for Veteran’s and becomes a blind spot for employees to do kid play and get plaid for the services.
Today is the Day the Lord has made, a notice came out to all, and I found out this was a great opportunity in which to become part of the changes again.
Reminds me when I completed the Code Purple Manuel for Circular Care Unit (CCU) back in the Day.
You just need to follow and simple which what is being collected through the daily task, project in your area, and simple dress it up, into where is easy for your worker with rules / codes/ sections.

at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center (VAMC), Chicago, IL
When a Veteran woke up with an eye infection, he walked into the Jesse Brown VAMC Eye Clinic after work to be treated.  He was told that he would be fit in for an appointment, but he might have to wait as other Veterans were waiting for their own appointments.  The Veteran shared he did not wait very long, “To make a long story short, the doctors and clerks were very helpful in taking care of my eye problem.  They could not have been more professional.  Thanks to the Eye Clinic and the Medical Team there at Jesse Brown VAMC.”
These employees worked together, going above and beyond to provide quality care to our Veterans, and they exemplify VA’s I-CARE values.
WE MUST ALWAYS KEEP IN MIND THIS COULD BE YOUR LOVE ONE, AND

WoW, everyone you should see this finished break through walls going East & West in the South entry lobby / to tower elevator’s. Now that everything is cleaned and the dusts have been removed, it looks like the state of the Arts facility. The sadness is the happiness behind the scène don’t match the beauty of the silver / glass/ bricks/ and cement.

No, Elva Yolanda Minero , Supervisor did not get back with me on either items/ documents.
I am noticing when she need to get back, she is all in gone or not availability, and ONLY comes yelling around when VTC [ OP-267] tells her I am after conducting EEOC information or A Whistleblower.
Like we said in the Pass she is the trigger, for every time an incident happens, everything start with her action / moods/ behavior in how VTC [OP-267] presents through IM or emails.
WHAT ABOUT THE OTHER SUPERVISOR IN THE CALL ROOM, ARE THEY CAPABLE OF HELPING YOU.

Interesting the physician now must keep their forced on other location, for veteran’s care {computer is a piece of equipment which doctor need in a room for documentation}.

That is a great question, she [Susan DeMasters2] was present with a High career, since 2012, when June Callasan was my supervisor and Maryann Childs was the Executive Nurse at the time. People have been switch around in the system while other have left all together.
Interesting she might be there and she might not be, we’ll all have to wait and see.

When the individual has let tried to help or assist, they were told to break it down. “I am given a direct order”; “the executive chief said this or that”; “you will do as I say”.  Now, because of the gossip through the medical staffing, and administration it has become the force of getting her out of here via temperamental worker under Neath them.

Happy Day: everyone.

Wednesday [26th July 2017], they had their Town’s Hall Meeting, with who so every could attend, now will have to wait, until the Link is uploaded in which to look over.

Our EOPF, is down, so therefore I couldn’t go through the files.  While apparently we can- not use another facility in which to view files.

In All the Labor Relations Specialist I had to deal with seem to understand their Jobs, Esther, FLRA; L. Richardson, Lead H. R. Assistant

I don’t understand why the operational flow of the facility STOP when an individual is gone from desk or site. We defiantly need more cross training, within the division.

Patient, ended up in the Human Resources Department, asking for direction on /or where is the Dental Department. Customer Services was that of the building next door then pointed to a map, and the veteran walk off.

Sometimes, it would be a wonderful to extend out yourself by walking with the veterans, a family member, and visitors.

Me, since we are under so much construction and the design of the campus has changed Great, the worker should have walk him to the area, or call Escort Service.

A good example of this is when, wait for the Labor Relations girl to come and communicate with me, notice employee tenseness about receiving access to something in which would possible make her job a little easier.

Then, notice worker [RN] tenseness and trying to keep his cool about some paper’s work he had

Place in and was have difficulty in finding out the results.

Before we Signature off Today, I just want to remind those that have graduated, seeking, there going to be a Job Fair of possible over 800 people. Bring large amounts of Water and snacks, so you can stay force as well.

In looking around the facility their setting up account able boards, in which the public / Staff can keep them accountable.  These are normal great because every successful cooperation / governmental offices use them.
