Walk-In Appointment at the Eye Clinic
at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center (VAMC), Chicago, IL
When a Veteran woke up with an eye infection, he walked into the Jesse Brown VAMC Eye Clinic after work to be treated. He was told that he would be fit in for an appointment, but he might have to wait as other Veterans were waiting for their own appointments. The Veteran shared he did not wait very long, “To make a long story short, the doctors and clerks were very helpful in taking care of my eye problem. They could not have been more professional. Thanks to the Eye Clinic and the Medical Team there at Jesse Brown VAMC.”
These employees worked together, going above and beyond to provide quality care to our Veterans, and they exemplify VA’s I-CARE values.
WE MUST ALWAYS KEEP IN MIND THIS COULD BE YOUR LOVE ONE, AND
